Job Description:

  • In-depth understanding of routing and switching, and Cisco wireless technologies.
  • The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in wireless technologies.
  • The candidate should be comfortable traveling for project implementation.
  • The candidate should have good comm skills.
  • Good knowledge of implementing Enterprise Networks Switches, majorly Cisco wireless.
  • Hands-on exposure to EKAHAU software for a site survey.
  • Hands-On Experience with wireless network technologies such as WLAN, 802.11 AX, and Wireless Lan Control (WLC).
  • Hand on exposer on WLC products like 9800 series, 9115 AX,1840i, 1840e, 1815i, 1815e etc.
  • Configuration of the wireless access point.
  • Excellent knowledge of Routing and Switching Protocols like BGP, OSPF, Dot1q, Link Aggregation, Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation, STP, Multicasting, and QoS.
  • Good knowledge of overlay technologies such as LISP, VXLAN, GRE etc.
  • Experience in troubleshooting VPC, MC-LAG, VSS, Stack, etc.
  • Strong concepts of FHRP protocols like HSRP, VRRP, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Packet Flow in Large Scale Enterprise Networks Internal and External Communication.
  • Good understanding of Campus and Network architectures eg Core, Distribution, Access, Collapsed Core, Software Defined Networking.
  • Working knowledge on Catalyst Switches, Cisco WLC and APs, and Routers.
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, and other engineers to develop customized Networks.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager in project planning, and status reporting and ensure adherence.
  • Aware of resilience disciplines – availability, security, scalability, reliability, etc.
